Most Audrey Hepburn fan's all time favorite Hepburn classic would be Breakfast at Tiffany's. The main character Holly Golightly is a hot-mess New York socialite and part time escort to rich millionaires from all around the world. Known for her wild antics and fabulous parties and wardrobe you can't help to somehow envy the dark haired beauty. The iconic "little black dress" worn by Hepburn in the opening scene has set the stage for evening wear for the last fifty decades. Designed by designer Givenchy the dress has been imitated several times over.
While reading the original short written by Truman Capote in the mid 1940's I couldn't help but to envy the Holly Golightly. Not only was she beautiful and fashion forward she never made any apologies for who she was or what she did. All though story she always seemed to be someone's damsel in distress but she always did things so stylish and elegantly even if she was spilling a martini all over herself. The confidence she had throughout the book is something that should be imitated along with her stylish black shades and Givenchy "little black dress".
